1st International Scientific Seminar in Learning Sciences - Grounding best schools in cutting-edge research

El "1st International Scientific Seminar in Learning Sciences - Grounding best schools in cutting-edge research" tendrá lugar desde el 1 de febrero hasta el 11 de mayo de 2013 en la Universidad Internacional de Cataluña (Barcelona, España). Estructurado en dos partes -todas ellas en inglés-, la primera está dirigida por investigadores y profundiza y discute sobre el estado actual de la investigación. La segunda, es un diálogo entre dichos investigadores y los participantes del Seminario sobre una serie de lecturas seleccionadas para asegurar la discusión científica relevante y actualizada.

• 2 de febrero de 2013: Courtney Cazden (Universidad de Harvard, Estados Unidos) -> "Language in the Classroom. The discourse of teaching and learning and its effects on achievement and inclusion"
• 15 de marzo de 2013: Ramón Flecha y Marta Soler (Universidad de Barcelona, España) -> "Dialogic Learning and Reading. The dialogic principles of Successful Educational Actions"
• 16 de marzo de 2013: Linda Hargreaves (Universidad de Cambridge, Reino Unido) -> "Dialogue in the Classroom: Effective Group Work"
• 5 de abril de 2013: Sandra Racionero (Universidad Internacional de Cataluña) -> "Interactions that foster learning and socio-cultural transformation in the classroom: The case of Interactive Groups"
• 6 de abril de 2013: Carol Lee (Northwestern University, Estados Unidos) -> "A Theory of Cultural Modelling for the design and enactment curriculum that draws on all students' cultural ingelligence"
• 10 de mayo de 2013: José María Delgado (Universidad Pablo Olavide, España) -> "The dialogical brain. How the neurosciences can inform better learning and educational success"
