British Educational Leadership, Management & Administration (BELMAS)

Founded more than 30 years ago, BELMAS seeks to advance the practice, teaching and study of educational management, administration and leadership in the United Kingdom, and to contribute to international developments in these areas.

BELMAS is unique in bringing together:

• those who hold or aspire to leadership and management roles in schools, colleges, universities, local education authorities and other organisations with an educational purpose
• those who provide training, advice and consultancy in leadership, management and administration in education
• those who study and research educational policy, management and leadership in education in the United Kingdom and overseas.

BELMAS holds an annual international conference and provides support, both financial and academic, for learning and development activities organised by BELMAS members. We want to to support ventures that generate dynamism and creativity in the educational leadership and management field and promote learning, development and improvement.
